Ballroom dancing has become very popular again due to the success of "Strictly Come Dancing" on TV and the film "Shall we dance". If you have wanted to be able to ballroom dance but have never got round to it, or if you think you might feel awkward or too embarrassed to try, we can help you with the basic movements that will enable you to become confident and relaxed while dancing. Come and learn to dance at the Mayne DanCentre. Beginners are very welcome.
Our aim is to enable you to feel comfortable on the dance floor at a social function whether it be a ball, a local dance, a club, a work function or a family celebration.
First wedding dance. Look good on your wedding day, come and learn to dance your first dance to your chosen music.
Our classes allow you to learn to dance with other people in a group atmosphere. You can learn as either a single person or a couple. You can choose to learn to simply dance socially, for medals or for competitions. If you want to gain medals, you can take the exams of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) in Ballroom or Latin American. More advanced dancers can learn extra developments, steps and styling that will give you increased character and flare while still retaining the ability to lead or follow your partner in all the dances.
Train for your professional qualifications within the NATD in Ballroom, Latin American, Classical, Sequence or Freestyle.
You can learn most of the common Ballroom and Latin dances - Cha Cha, Fox Trot, Quickstep, Jive, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Tango, Waltz, Paso Doble.
If you know of anyone who wants to learn, there will be a new beginners course starting on Monday 9th January 2006 at 7:15pm for 12 weeks. Let them know.
We are based at Cranford, Hounslow, to the west of London making our dance lessons convenient for those in Hounslow and Hillingdon.
