Peter Oxman marries on 7 July 1892 in Bellambi, New South Wales, Australia

An Arthur Oxman travelled to Australia aboard the barque,'Otago' a fine iron vessel of 993 tons . It  left Plymouth, England on March 18, 1886 and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on June 4.

There are a couple John Oxman and Elizabeth Tonkin who have a number of children George Charles Oxnam, John Tonkin Oxman, Mary Lucretia Oxman, Emily Oxnam and William Oxnam between 1873 and 1879. Their surnames are given as either Oxman and Oxnam but they are all born in Sandhurst or Eagl, Victoria, Australia to John and Elizabeth Oxman or Oxnam.

Thomas and Mary Oxnam with their children Mary, Susan, William, Edward, Caroline, Sydney emigrate to Maryborough, Queensland, Australia on the "City of Agra" on 3/5/1877.
