There is a place called Oxman in Baker County, Oregon. Anyone know why this place was named Oxman?

Frank C Oxman and Clarence H Oxman had Water rights to use the Waters of Willow Creek, Oregon. I'm not sure when. Was this the same Frank C Oxman mentioned in the California section?

There were Oxmans in Portland Oregon in 1898. A Frank H. Oxman marries Callie M. Mc Gee in 1898 at Portland, Multnomah, Oregon. Anything to do with them? Or was it related to Frank C Oxman and Clarence H Oxman above?

There are Oxman soils to be found in the eastern side of Oregon.

There is a Quad (?) to the south west of Baker City called Oxman.
