I have listed many of the Oxman records I have found up to about 1910. If you need records after this contact me. So far I have included all the births, deaths and marriages from the indexes at the General Registrars Office (now the Family History Centre) which start in 1836. I have also included all Oxmans from the Census that is held every ten years. The earliest census records date from 1841 and the latest open to public inspection are 1891. The 1901 census does not become available till it is 100 years old. The other common source of information is the parish registers of christenings and marriages which can contain information going back to the 1500s. Other sources yet to be included when I have time are apprenticeship records and wills.
